Hey there! Let me give you a sneak peek into a few of my side hustles amidst my 'advertising' journey. A mix of freelancing gigs, personal illustrations, and some funky random stuff ;)

HER2.0: Innovation Beyond Breast Cancer /JAZZ Pharmaceuticals

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is about to change how deadly gastrointestinal cancers are treated, but most oncologists were unfamiliar with the company and have been burned before when it comes to the promise of new innovations – they have seen TONS of the typical "highly scientific" campaigns that show the potential of a new therapy.

So we transformed scientific anatomy and text, elevating the typical clinical presentation into something eye-catching and inspiring. Each piece features the phrase "HER2.0”, a play on next-generation HER2 treatment, alongside a creatively reimagined gastrointestinal tract, providing a unique visual twist on familiar and tired pharmaceutical anatomy.

Code of Conscience /AKQA

I was honoured to be invited by AKQA/SP and Horda Studio to illustrate this inspiring project. I came up with a whole bunch of ASCII illustrations, as well as the storyboard and frame-by-frame pieces for the project video. To be as faithful as I could with the project's core idea, all the illustrations were made using real fonts and spacing.

The Music Issue /VOGUE Portugal

Illustration and concepts for the "Poster People" series in partnership with the photographer Ricardo Abrahão. I was asked by him to take part in the project along with many talented people, as well as a couple of Brazilian music stars as models - Urias and Gaby Amarantos. The brief was to design 10 posters, one for each music style, using Abrahão's photoshoot.
