the black boot is back /umbro

In a world of colorful boots, with the top players wearing their phosphorescent Nikes, Adidas and Pumas, we had to bring the black boots back into style. And to do so, we linked the black boots to the good old fashioned football values – playing serious, beautifully and to win games – not likes nor followers. In addition to that, we also took advantage of the national team iconic loss at the '14 World Cup (Germany 7x1 Brazil), where not even a single player among all wore black boots.

Just one facebook post was enough to fire up Brazilian's football fans moral. The best comments also became part of the social campaign – and even the '94 World Cup champion (Brazilian centre-back Ricardo Rocha) spontaneously reposted and replied the campaign. After all that, well, we can say:

Scare the f#ck out of them. Wear black.

Missing the dribbles instead of selfies? Missing the stern face defender? Missing the strikers who just won't dive no matter how hard the hit? The punch in the air celebration instead of funny little dances? Missing the jerseys tucked into shorts without all the show off jewellery? Missing the samba right in the locker room instead of those huge colorful headphones? Missing to frighten them off? Wear black.

This package does not include: duckface selfie, goal dancing celebration, funky hair, show off jewellery, XL colorful headphones nor diving inside the area.
